History of Party Development
         The Party Branch of Tengtou Village was founded in late 1950s, the General Party Branch was founded in Jan. 1992 and the Party Committee was founded on June 18th, 1994, which now has 13 branches, 1 General Party Branch and 200 Party members. Since 1960s, especially since the Third Plenary Session of the Eleventh Central Committee, the Party has carried through the Party's line, principles and policies of new times, consolidated Party building and unite and lead the cadre and the masses to promote the spirit of hard working, persistence and keeping doing two types of work at the same so as to change the poor and backward old village into a prosper new socialist village with production and development, wealth, nice ecology, village civilization and democratic management. The two Secretaries of Party Committee were both elected as the National Model, and Fu Qiping, the present Secretary of Party Committee, is also elected as Zhejiang Party Committee Secretary and deputy to National People’s Congress. In Oct. 1991, Jiang Zemin visited Tengtou and he said, ‘The Party here fully played a role of battle fortress.’ And the Party Committee was elected as National Advanced Party Organization at Grass-root Level in 1996 and 2001. During the education of Three Represents Theory, Party of Tengtou integrated the reality for development and efficiency, which was praised by Zeng Qinghong. And Fu Qiping, the Secretary of Party Committee, was also elected as the only National Model Cadre at the grass-roots level for learning the important thought of Three Represents. Now, during carrying out education for maintaining the advanced nature of the Communist Party, the Party Committee set the objective of realizing new leaps and always being the pioneers with building new socialist countryside, and it, guided by scientific outlook on development, would lead the Party members and villagers to innovate and maintain the top position of building new socialist countryside.
